Hermione's clothes from the Deathly Hallows Part 1

First off: don't worry Slytherin fans, I will write a Slytherin blog post very soon. I saw Deathly Hallows on Friday and thought it was fantastic and loved Hermione's clothes. So I found some similar stuff and some pics from the movie for comparison. She wore alot of cute knit hats and scarves, drapey Henley shirts (with 3-quarter sleeves), boots with buckles such as the ones I've included on this post: Becky Suede Boot from Delias (they have alot of boots similar to Hermione's), and Peacoats (especially longer ones. There are two amazing ones on delias.com: Classic Menswear Coat, and the beautiful Steve Madden Ruffle Coat). My fashion weapons that no one from my school has figured out yet are store.delias.com and store.alloy.com. They have clothes similar to those of everyone's favorite Gryffindor witch. Check it out... Look in their knit shirts , knit hats and scarves, and outerwear. Forever21 also has some great stuff similar to Hermione's. Urban Outfitters would have perfect clothes for this style but, alas, they are expensive- by all means check them out if you have money. Hermione's beautiful beaded bag is available on thenoblecollection.com, it's $65. I don't have that kind of money so I'm going to make it from various purple fabrics from the local fabric store, pretty lining, beads, and tassels. Love,
Belle

  2. Hey! Thanks for commenting! The white Henley is freepeople the magic carpet ride thermal henley in ballet from karmaloop.com. It's actually a pale pale ballet pink and it's $80, but hey! Christmas is coming up! I don't know if you looked at delias.com but today I saw Maggie Babydoll Thermal on there and it's very similar to the one you asked about but available in white and only $34.50! Hope I helped! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner!

  4. I wish I could find it, I looked for days. My guess would be that it's from some English store, but I have no idea which or even if it would be available anymore. I just got a similar one from Target so maybe you could look there or Forever21 (especially online, there's a bigger selection online). I adore that shirt, too! Sorry I couldn't be a bigger help:)

  5. Thanks dearie. Would you be able to find out where some of Harry's clothes were from? I like his dark grey-black-ish sweater with speckled gray he wore when he danced with Hermione. Anyhow, thanks!

  6. I can try to find out where his is from but more likely I'll probably just find cheaper ones that look like it. I never thought to do a post on the boy's clothes! I'll have to do that soon!

  8. I would love to know where to find the actual clothes from the movie, but I have no idea. They have costume designers and such and I'm sure it's all expensive as heck. I just tried to find similar clothes and stuff:) So, I couldn't possibly tell you where to find that actual shirt... but I would totally want one if I knew!

  10. I have no idea where to find any of the clothes anyone wears in any Harry Potter movie. I can only tell you that you can find similar ones. If you can find pretty much the same shirt somewhere reasonable, why would you want to buy the brand? alloy, delias, forever21, thrift stores, target. Flannel plaid galore, dear.

  11. The very cute button-down, hooded gray sweater Hermione wears in the woods has been re-released by Zara, a Dutch fashion company that made the one in the film. It's not terribly expensive, so I ordered one. You can buy it at http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/nl/en/zara-W2011/124502/388103/JACQUARD%2BPATTERN%2BCARDIGAN%2BWITH%2BHOOD
