Mardi Gras!!! Fashion

These are very pretty! Amethyst glass and Fleur de Lis earrings... very nice.
Pretty violet floral skirt would be cute for a Mardi Gras outfit!
I love these gold sequined oxfords from Forever21!
This is such a pretty headband! And perfect for Mardi Gras if I do say so myself.
Also perfect for Mardi Gras
Little mask locket from Etsy.
Mask necklace.
Mask earrings.

Violet, gold, and green are the colors of Fat Tuesday (in case you didn't know, that's what Mardi Gras means). So! Here is a Mardi Gras theme post! Sadly I can't celebrate Mardi Gras this year beyond what I wear and the occasional joyous shout of "Laissez les bonne temps roulez!" Or... "have a very jazzy and... fat... Tuesday"... or something. I don't know. The reason I will not be able to attend the French Club's Mardi Gras party is that I am required to make an appearance in my college classes. And by the time I get out of class every Tuesday and Thursday I am completely numb, so I can't really do much of anything to celebrate after school either. Oh, lamentable day! Maybe I'll have my violin before then and I can sit alone in my room, playing a sad, sad song...

French T-shirt got me elected president (Queen, Dictator, Supreme Ruler) of French Club...

... Or it could have been my campaign slogan: "Hi I'm Bellamy- yes that's a french name and why, yes, my shirt is french- and I would like to be your dictator. You shall all address me as 'Your Majesty the Queen' and bow whenever I walk past." No, I'm not kidding. My name really is french! Oh yeah, and I really did say that and people really did go for that. You gotta love Idahoans and that great Idahoan sense of humor... Okay! So... Here is what I wore today. The boots are my dearest joy in life (they're Rocket Dogs), the shirt is from Delias but there is now a similar one on Alloy, the lovely green cardigan is from Target, and the skirt is from Lucky Monkey Trading Company (which is the greatest little eclectic Indian/Indonesian shop in downtown Coeur d'Alene). I love going in there- I feel so cool. Like those cool people who hang out in little coffee shops all the time and play guitar on the side of the street for pennies. I'd like to be like them. And live in a tree. Love,
Belle

French Dressing reminds me of eating french fries with ranch dressing which I love

French clothes! French fashion! French Dressing! La vetements de la francais! Ha Ha! As we all know Paris is the fashion capitol of the world and I LOVE IT! So here is a tres belle post about french style. Whenever I get runs in my tights I'm okay with it because I once read on a french fashion blog that destroyed tights are cool there (like destroyed jeans in America). I love quirky avante garde art-like clothes, pastel color pallet, flowy fabrics, neutral colors, and feminine details for french style.Though to be honest (and so I don't offend any french people in the wide world of internet [who speak english, if you don't I can say pretty much anything I want {just kidding}] ) I haven't ever been to France so I have no way of really knowing what I'm talking about. This is just my interpretation of the little I know about french fashion (and what I've learned from the lovely Miss Pandora). Enjoy my attempt at french fashion, please, my loves! Love,
Belle
