Another Nerd Post!

This one is better than the last one! Exciting! It's got to be a lot better since I've included the Smallville version of Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and his superheat isn't limited to his vision. Ha! A pun. Hee hee. Anyway... he is quite hot. So! My sister's cat is trying to sit on my lap, but the thing is: he's trying to trick me by being deceptively sweet. It's true. I really love this new fashionable take on nerd style 'cause I've always had a thing for nerds. I'm kind of hot for nerds... [hysterical laughter]. All the t-shirts are from delias and alloy. The blazers and sweaters are from forever21. Enjoy, you buncha nerds! Love,
Belle

Crochet!

Finally! I just know the entire world has been waiting in suspense. "When will Bellamy- that wonderful, beautiful genius- post a... post... on crocheted clothes?! I'm losing my mind here!" Did I get carried away? I think not! So I found some awesome crochet looks (do you even realize how many ways there are to wear crochet?) on the world-wide-web while listening to the freespirited/Bohemian tunes from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and the wonderfully angry Irish rock of The Tossers and Flogging Molly (may I suggest that you listen to these bands while reading my blog?). Most of these crochet pieces are from Forever21, Alloy, Delias, and Etsy. I love a dark (or minimalistic floral) blouse with shorts and a longer cream-colored crocheted vest outfit idea. I think it would be an adorable and unique approach to a classic style. Yeah! I sound professional! Perhaps I will purchase a crochet vest. Or, you never really know, I probably already have one somewhere. Or maybe my mom does... in which case... she doesn't anymore... because that thing is mine!!! Love,
Belle

I like to dress as European as possible which may be amusing to some of my European readers

It's just that I've seen these wonderful pictures of European street style! There are such creative, confident people all over the world who express themselves through fashion. Seriously, if you're looking for inspiration come here first (of course) but also check out lookbook. It's THE place for fashionable/artistic people. My blog is called letyourloveshinefashionart because I believe your clothes should be wearable art that expresses your individual style. I haven't posted my daily outfits the last few days because I've been wearing my pajamas around the house instead of something completely adorable and entirely original to school. Here's today's outfit. The shorts are cut-off Calvin Klein jeans, the tank top is just a simple under tank from Hollister, the tights are Hue (which is a good brand for tights so they're great but a little more expensive than your everyday tights, but thankfully I found them really cheap at Ross Dress For Less [I adore Ross, I hope all my readers enjoy the wonderland that is Ross]), the boots are Rocket Dog (and I know it seems like I'm always wearing them, but I can't help it because I just love them so much), and the cardigan is from Delias (the actual cardi- Blair Preppy Cardigan- might not be there anymore unless it's on last chance clearance, but there are alot of similar ones). The most unique part of the outfit is the jewelry. I'm wearing my favorite amethyst ring, my lucky Irish astrology pendant, an Indonesian bracelet from Lucky Monkey (which is an awesome shop I talked about in an older post. Make sure you look through those, they're gems) a jade bracelet my dad bought from a little stand when he was in Africa, 2 No-Plastic bracelets from Claire's (made of natural, recycled materials and no plastic), and another bracelet that's proceeds go to a charity to build libraries in Africa (Love In Action is the charity). Along with some awesomely exotic-looking earrings that my sister, Mel, gave me when her ear-holes closed up. I still need to write a post on crocheted clothes, but maybe not tonight. Tired brain. This weekend I'm thrift store shopping so I'm bound to get some good pics then. Oh yeah, and be prepared for a fright: next week is spirit week at my school for the Lakeland/Post Falls rivalry game! We have some super themes. But
I shan't disclose them here, out in the open, in case of attempts at espionage on the Post Falls side of things. Haha! Love,
Belle
(I feel like I have to write out haha! every time so people understand that I'm laughing and joking around because I refuse to say lol or jk. Ew. Just can't really stand that, you know?) (uugh! especially when people say it! Why would you say lol?! Why don't you just laugh?! Or OMG?! Why the letters? Are you lazy or do you just really enjoy the alphabet?!) (okay. My tangent is over now. I so hope I didn't offend anyone.) Good night darlings!

I Have Been Crocheting a... thing

I don't really have any idea what it is I've been crocheting, I'm just glad that I have been. Crocheting, that is. So this is the outfit I wore yesterday (kind of boring I know, but I didn't have the will power to be cute yesterday) I didn't have the chance to post it last night. The necklace is the focal point- it was hand-made in Korea. My dad got them for all the daughters (he has 4) when he was there. I love it because it reminds me of Arwen's necklace from The Lord of the Rings, except that it's red and black. The shirt's from Walmart, believe it or not, the jeans are Cruelgirls from Goodwill, and the sweater is from Costco. Strange, the things you can get at Costco. In one of these pictures (and, trust me, you'll know it when you see it) I kind of look like I want to eat you. Sorry about that... Later I will post more on crocheting. Like some great outfits with crocheted pieces. Till then: anon good readers, anon... Love,
Belle

I rode my horse to a tea party while i attempted to dance ballet...

...awed and amazed the onlookers stared as I handed the reins to the valet. Lovely little limerick right off the top of my head. Hope you loved it. Okydokey. So, here is today's outfit. I wore my riding boots again with my ballet-teaparty shirt, olive legging-pants, green cardi, multicolored scarf, and little key earrings that remind me of steampunk. I look weird because I was eating licorice while my mom tried to take pictures of me.
I also included Street style! Well, people at my school with cute clothes (which are- believe me- few and far in between). My friends Anna and Shannon looked adorable, so I shot them! With a camera... And Sara from Harry Potter club and Sam- our fearless leader and Head Mistress of the Harry Potter club are also included! The blonds are my friends and the brunettes are fellow Hogwarts students. They're so cute. Anyhoo... Love,
Belle

Well, you've come to the right place! I have compiled a plethora of pictures from the world of internet to give you an answer to the age-old question: "can I still look cute in winter-time when I have to be all bundled up?" Yes! The correct answer is YES!!! Just look! There are even cute winter boots now, and cute ways to wear the original winter boot! Yay! Fashion has come so far... Love,
