I like to dress as European as possible which may be amusing to some of my European readers

It's just that I've seen these wonderful pictures of European street style! There are such creative, confident people all over the world who express themselves through fashion. Seriously, if you're looking for inspiration come here first (of course) but also check out lookbook. It's THE place for fashionable/artistic people. My blog is called letyourloveshinefashionart because I believe your clothes should be wearable art that expresses your individual style. I haven't posted my daily outfits the last few days because I've been wearing my pajamas around the house instead of something completely adorable and entirely original to school. Here's today's outfit. The shorts are cut-off Calvin Klein jeans, the tank top is just a simple under tank from Hollister, the tights are Hue (which is a good brand for tights so they're great but a little more expensive than your everyday tights, but thankfully I found them really cheap at Ross Dress For Less [I adore Ross, I hope all my readers enjoy the wonderland that is Ross]), the boots are Rocket Dog (and I know it seems like I'm always wearing them, but I can't help it because I just love them so much), and the cardigan is from Delias (the actual cardi- Blair Preppy Cardigan- might not be there anymore unless it's on last chance clearance, but there are alot of similar ones). The most unique part of the outfit is the jewelry. I'm wearing my favorite amethyst ring, my lucky Irish astrology pendant, an Indonesian bracelet from Lucky Monkey (which is an awesome shop I talked about in an older post. Make sure you look through those, they're gems) a jade bracelet my dad bought from a little stand when he was in Africa, 2 No-Plastic bracelets from Claire's (made of natural, recycled materials and no plastic), and another bracelet that's proceeds go to a charity to build libraries in Africa (Love In Action is the charity). Along with some awesomely exotic-looking earrings that my sister, Mel, gave me when her ear-holes closed up. I still need to write a post on crocheted clothes, but maybe not tonight. Tired brain. This weekend I'm thrift store shopping so I'm bound to get some good pics then. Oh yeah, and be prepared for a fright: next week is spirit week at my school for the Lakeland/Post Falls rivalry game! We have some super themes. But
I shan't disclose them here, out in the open, in case of attempts at espionage on the Post Falls side of things. Haha! Love,
Belle
(I feel like I have to write out haha! every time so people understand that I'm laughing and joking around because I refuse to say lol or jk. Ew. Just can't really stand that, you know?) (uugh! especially when people say it! Why would you say lol?! Why don't you just laugh?! Or OMG?! Why the letters? Are you lazy or do you just really enjoy the alphabet?!) (okay. My tangent is over now. I so hope I didn't offend anyone.) Good night darlings!

I rode my horse to a tea party while i attempted to dance ballet...

...awed and amazed the onlookers stared as I handed the reins to the valet. Lovely little limerick right off the top of my head. Hope you loved it. Okydokey. So, here is today's outfit. I wore my riding boots again with my ballet-teaparty shirt, olive legging-pants, green cardi, multicolored scarf, and little key earrings that remind me of steampunk. I look weird because I was eating licorice while my mom tried to take pictures of me.
I also included Street style! Well, people at my school with cute clothes (which are- believe me- few and far in between). My friends Anna and Shannon looked adorable, so I shot them! With a camera... And Sara from Harry Potter club and Sam- our fearless leader and Head Mistress of the Harry Potter club are also included! The blonds are my friends and the brunettes are fellow Hogwarts students. They're so cute. Anyhoo... Love,
Belle

Autumn Is My Favorite!

I love fall! The leaves fall from the trees and litter the ground with vibrant orange, vivacious yellow, and ruby red! Everyone dresses up for Halloween and the children beg for free candy from strangers... Halloween is my absolute favorite! It's also the perfect weather for sweaters and soup. And O how I adore sweaters and soup! This post is about the majestic beauty of autumn and the best colors and styles to wear at this magical and mysterious time of year. Yeah. Doesn't that sound fancy? Cozy cable knits! Pumpkin orange! Earthy brown! Sage green! Are you feeling inspired by all these exclamation points! Have fun and wear scarves and chunky knit hats! Drink tea and wear boots! Love,
Belle

I HAVE NEVER... rode my horse in my riding boots

So I have these equestrian boots... No. They're more than that. They are God's gift to the world, they are my life. Well... maybe I'm exaggerating, but I don't think I'm exaggerating very much. They're Rocket Dog riding boots (see below picture). I spent a year internet exploring for affordable equestrian boots, and then one day when I was exhausted and near giving up, I saw them... Haaaah (angel noise)... the light at the end of the tunnel! I was flipping through my Delias magazine, and there they were, my true love in boot form (?) They were literally perfect, I wouldn't change anything about them. They're faux leather, hit just under the knee, partial lace-up, beautiful dark brown, and $80- the cheapest ones I had found in my year long web-safari. So here is a post to all those out there with riding boots or who are searching for riding boots (check out store.delias.com or, if you're one of those turd faces with size 8 feet, etsy almost always has vintage riding boots for size 8 women) or who have yet to be convinced that they are something they could actually wear without jodhpurs and a helmet. I wear my boots with anything really, they're perfect for fall fashion and weather. My favorite semi-equestrian look is boots with a cream lace dress. My favorite actress is Camilla Belle and there's this issue of Teen Vogue with her as the cover girl from 2006. Well, it's the greatest cover story with amazing photographs and my favorite clothes. I've included a picture here. They also look great with a calf-length skirt. I wore a vintage floral calf-length skirt, my mom's (my) brown belt, my drapey gray sweater, and- of course- my awesome riding boots, with my grandma's monocle, a little gold elf necklace from my mommy, and my new clock-face earrings. I wore this to school and then an art show. People at school made comments like: "you know, you look like you should be from Victorian times", while at the art show I blended in perfectly. You gotta love artists... Above are some lovely pictures to inspire you, my dears. Love,
Belle
